Temperate? [Look, some words she's not familiar with here, Kaiba.] Oh! Well, with how many, ah, canines I seem to be obtaining, it reminded me of something that I would see in the desert sometimes. There would be people racing or hunting with hounds and would use a henna paste to protect them from the conditions and for dying, if they were a light enough color. But given how much the Pokemon seem to battle, I don't see why it wouldn't be a good idea to try and mitigate as much damage as possible to them after.
