King was a small Goomy when they first met, on the day Kaiba was suddenly thrown hundreds of years in the past. Kaiba couldn't quite believe this little guy would eventually become a dragon! He's sweet and loyal, always willing to reach out to new friends...essentially the polar opposite of his Trainer.

After a moody teenager Sliggoo phase, King evolved into his final form one stormy day. He's as cuddly (and slimy) as ever!

Zephyra first caught Kaiba's eye with her flaming mane. Observation revealed her to be a small, skittish pony...so he lured her in with a few treats before trying to catch her. The Ponyta was wary at first, but she's slowly bonded with Kaiba on their daily walks together---and especially now that she's grown, she tends to sprint ahead!

She's big enough now to ride...he just has to figure that part out.

Kaiba braved the more dangerous region around Mount Coronet in search of powerful Pokémon. He stumbled into an area teeming with yellow and red moths in search of honey. He accidentally brushed against some honeycomb and startled this little fellow...yellow and blue, his wings glistening in the light.

Somehow, the scent of honey stuck to Kaiba, and this little guy wasn't going to leave him alone. He's named for Mokuba's favorite moth kaiju, and...yes, he's aware that's a feminine name. Mothra doesn't seem to mind. The carefree moth flies high and low in search of honey, and Kaiba has to keep a closer eye on him than most of his team.

After six long weeks in Hisui, Kaiba finally arrived in Johto to have the beginners' experience everyone kept talking about. Except he landed in a dirt patch outside, waking up to the face of this little creature poking at him. She's a little nervous around the bigger and stronger Pokémon he's brought home from Hisui, but Kaiba's learned a bit from Zephyra on how to raise skittish Pokémon.

Now that she's more confident, Mizuchi's finally evolved! She'll do her best to be the sharp shooter Kaiba expects her to be.

A huge tidal wave swept across the land one day, and Pikachu and Raichu with a need for ocean speed swarmed. This little darling got in a tussle with King, and Kaiba took her in with a little sigh. Much like her name, she's a laid-back little surfer gal..but she has potential, so she gets to stay.

She's a bit of a trickster, and she demolishes any pile of pancakes put in front of her.

Selene was a sweet and friendly young Eevee, and Kaiba's done his best to take care of her. Kaiba had an eye toward the future with her...she'd make a fine Umbreon, or so he believed.

Looks like there was a mishap! Somebody snuck some Poké Puffs at a Halloween party, and on the night he meant to evolve his Umbreon...he ended up with a pile of pink fluff and cutesy ribbons instead. Whoopsie doopsie. Looks like he has a dragon slayer to raise now---but she's good at promoting peace and harmony on the team.

This Magikarp was a gift??? from Marik. Allegedly this little fish will eventually evolve into a powerful rain dragon, but Kaiba's really not so sure about that. All he can do is splash around for now (and occasionally fire off powerful water spouts for some reason), but at least he kept Mizuchi company in the water.

Aura is...well, she was a tiny little cloud bird. Kaiba was primed to expect a dragon, and here's this little one. She was very fussy and eager to clean her surroundings, and Kaiba found himself wearing her as a hat whenever she's out of her ball. Definitely cramping his style, but cute.

And then she evolved! Now that she's bigger, she's large enough to fly on...and she loves enveloping people with her cloud wings.

This Pokémon has a reputation for standing beside champions, and Kaiba is determined to prove himself to the skeptical little sword.

He's now a big guy, and a solid hitter! The strategy of stance changing is tough to learn, but rewarding.

After an exhausting and somewhat painful night searching the creepy castle at Cerulean Cape, this little guy wandered across Kaiba's path. As a person in search of all dragons, he's taken in the little guy, working to unlock its full potential. Reaper's even weaker than King was at first, but Kaiba's learned the value of patience.

As a trickster from the castle, this one has some sticky fingers. Mind your things around him. But hopefully evolving and caring for a few Dreepy of his own will mature him?

The little guy seemed to have trouble evading predators, so Kaiba decided to take him home and see if he could help him out. Nimbus is a sweet and loyal Wooloo...he just needs a lot of brushing. Kaiba sincerely hopes this was worth it.

This little bitey boy was a Christmas gift from Minfilia. It's a bit of a struggle to keep him from chewing through everything...

He's a big and very strong ground dragon now. He's still a handful with all that pent-up energy, but very loyal.

Now that Yuki's grown, she's quite the ferocious ice monster. He's very proud of her.
